"Heroes will also aid to assist the God of Death in two Eye of Het mini-quests as they go to Het's Tomb to find a powerful object that can help the gods of the younger generation in the Elder God Wars saga," the press release reads.
In a fresh event that starts now and runs until January 3, 2022 players will have the chance to receive a new version of the iconic "Partyhat" it's an item that was originally only available during a Christmas event that was held in 2001. It was originally available in red blue, green, yellow or purple in RuneScape's "The Golden Party Hat Hunt" quest will allow players to get one of the sought-after cosmetics in a metallic sheen.
Because the party hats were only available in limited numbers for a short time but have since been removed and any player fortunate enough to have one has the option of selling them for billions in game coins. Even though the hats are strictly decorative and provide no bonus stats, they are considered to be the priciest item available on Grand Exchange, hitting the maximum value of 2.1billion gold in 2015.
To obtain head-on-heads in a Golden Party Hat, players will have to OSRS gold complete "various objectives" and earn eight gold shreds in return for their efforts. After all eight have been collected, they can be added to the Golden Party Hat.
However there is a catch. Not only is the event limited in time, but only one golden hat will be able to be crafted for each participant. Similar to their predecessors in 2001, Jagex declares of the gold caps that "after the cut-off time they will not be earned again!"
It is unclear if the new item will disrupt the game's economy and decreases the value of party hats or turns into an additional premium item remains to be seen. Jagex will be celebrating this occasion with cheap OSRS GP the same and will transform the in-game Gcheap OSRS GP
