MMOexp: I stayed in touch with the EA FC community

I lauded the idea of women in Ultimate Team at first – I’m a regular at Prenton Park to watch Liverpool Women as it’s much easier to FIFA 24 Coins get a ticket than to watch their male counterparts. I quickly incorporated the likes of Nagano and Lawley into my Ultimate Team, before growing tired of the insufferable and inevitable push towards microtransactions and falling off the game completely. The pack weight was clearly terrible and promos were not adjusted to account for the fact there are nearly twice as many possible players to pack.

However, I stayed in touch with the EA FC community. I did as much when I took half a decade off playing the game before returning for work with FIFA 22, so I sure as heck made sure to do the same now it’s my job to stay in the loop. As the season progressed, fielding female players became normalised. Hansen appeared in top teams, Kelly had a great card, and Karchaoui was released far too cheaply so everyone bought her. Legends like Bonmatí, Putellas, and Hamm are incredibly sought after, and people care less about the gender of their players and more about how good they are.

This is, in itself, a positive change. Gone is the outcry, and arrived is acceptance. But the latest promo to hit Ultimate Team has taken things to the next level.

Ultimate Team promos occur every week, releasing brand new cards to chase in packs. It keeps the difficulty curve moving over the course of a season, and preys on FOMO in order to sell packs. In previous years, if I’ve seen a Liverpool player in a promo, I’ve chased them. Thankfully I’ve got ahold of myself now, but the excitement of chasing great players is a part of buy EA FC 24 Coins why people play Ultimate Team. You’re creating the Ultimate Team, so you need the Ultimate Players.
