Nina, who works in medical trial management for any biotechnology company providing cancer treatments married Andy, who works in production management for a well-known payments company, around 9 September 2018. They celebrated their day in Wetherby, West Yorkshire, a historic country house built in the early nineteenth century.
"My bridesmaid and my pal accompanied me towards the Bridal Collection and we chose several beaded dresses and some lace dresses. I tried my dress on a second and immediately I just knew it had been something different coupled with a real wow factor! I could consider Andy's face when he first viewed it, knowing he'd never have expected me to choose a dress like this."
Nina's bridesmaid wore an attractive pink asymmetric dress, and along with Nina's flower girls, who wore ivory flower girl dresses from their hair was adorned with hydrangea petals.
"We first met in a casino in Leeds through mutual friends in 2013. At that time I had recently gone to live in London and Andy was still in Leeds. Despite several attempts by Andy to obtain me on the date while I is in London, we simply managed to meet once as I was always busy."
"Andy still claims our first date was whenever we met up at Byron Burger but I keep reminding him both young people need to know it's to start dating? for it to count! We had visited Vegas with friends too later in 2013 coupled with a blast gambling and staying up till the first hours but we didn’t get together like a couple until late 2015 when I had moved to Leeds for work. A few bottles of wine and also the rest is history!"
The very first time Nina read Edward Monkton's to Andy, he cried, and thus this appeared like absolutely an ideal choice to possess as their ceremony reading.
In keeping using the glamorous white and gold scheme, Mary at (yes!) designed a spectacular four-tier cake decorated with gold leaf.
There was more amazing food within the evening, too – pulled pork sandwiches and ham and cheese toasties, sausage toasties and cheese, and tomato croissants.
"We were adamant that people would not have an initial dance! However, following the cake cutting, we queued in the first track from the wedding playlist we spent hours creating (Calvin Harris and Neyo's Let's Go) and all sorts of our family and friends were cheering us on dance therefore we threw several shapes to some real banger and invited everyone to become listed on us after about ten seconds! We had 13 hours from the playlist and we only got through about 6 hours therefore we need to find another excuse to party towards the next 6 hours!"
"The cake looked amazing, we chose four tiers (that was way more than we needed!) – chocolate, Victoria sponge, Baileys, and lemon. We spent the fourteen days after our wedding eating cake – the smartest thing ever!"
Words of Wedded Wisdom
"Both Nina and Andy: Always try to negotiate together with your venue! We got an incredible deal just by asking what they could do for all of us."
